Gregg Hoekstra started doing yoga in 2010 for the sole purpose of helping him recover from low back pain. After about a month of continuous yoga, he realized how much better he felt both physically and mentally. He continued to do yoga at home for five years until he decided to take his yoga to the next level and joined Yoga Youniverse in the summer of 2015. Since then, he has not looked back and became a yoga teacher in June of 2016. Yoga has helped Gregg recover from injury and to cope with anxiety and depression. Yoga has changed Greggs life and wants to positively contribute to helping others.
